Bomber on the Genesis is one of those games that looks simple at first—you're just a little dude running around dropping bombs—but then suddenly you're sweating because the screen's full of fire and you've boxed yourself into a corner. The mazes start off forgiving, but by level 3 you're timing explosions to chain-react through walls while some weird bouncing enemy chases you. Classic "just one more try" energy.

What I love is how SEGA made something so chaotic feel so precise. The explosions have this satisfying crackle, and there's something weirdly zen about clearing a whole row of blocks with a perfectly placed bomb. It's got that early '90s vibe where the colors pop just right and the music sticks in your head. Not gonna lie, I still mess up and blow myself up sometimes, but that's half the fun.
