Bomberman B-Daman is one of those weird Japan-only SNES games that makes you go, "Wait, Bomberman does what now?" Instead of the usual maze explosions, you're controlling these little marble-shooting robots (B-Daman, apparently) in arena battles. The controls take a second to click—you charge shots by holding the button, then release to fire, which feels oddly satisfying when you nail a direct hit.
It's got that classic Bomberman vibe but with a totally different twist—imagine if someone mashed up Bomberman with a weird pinball duel. The sprites are chunky and colorful in that early '90s way, and some of the stage hazards actually made me laugh (watch out for the giant rolling apples). Definitely a curiosity if you're into digging up obscure SNES stuff.
Just don't expect it to play anything like regular Bomberman—this one's its own strange little thing.
