You start in this maze full of breakable blocks and weird little creatures, and at first, it’s all about dropping bombs and running—but then you find the power-ups. Suddenly you’re kicking bombs across the screen or dropping three at once, and that’s when things get really fun.

The pixel art still holds up, with bright colors and these goofy little animations when enemies explode. It’s simple at first glance, but there’s a rhythm to it—timing your explosions, figuring out when to cut off an enemy’s escape. I always get greedy for those shoe upgrades that let you move faster, though, and that’s usually when I misjudge a blast radius.
