You control one of several Bombermen, each with a slightly different starting advantage, and your goal is to clear each single-screen stage by blowing up blocks and enemies with timed explosives. Key mechanics include riding on kangaroo-like creatures that let you kick bombs farther or spit fire, and collecting power-ups that increase your blast radius, the number of bombs you can place, or grant special abilities like walking through bricks. The pacing is fast, especially with other players, and the difficulty ramps up steadily with more complex stage layouts and aggressive enemies. It feels frantic and unpredictable, especially when a well-placed bomb sends everything into beautiful disarray.
