Game Overview

This Amiga side-scroller throws you straight into the gothic chaos of the 1992 Dracula film. You play as Jonathan Harker, punching and kicking your way through bats, rats, and Renfield’s goons—all while hunting down Dracula’s hidden coffins filled with cursed Transylvanian dirt. The first level starts in a tavern, which feels oddly cozy before the castle’s horrors kick in.

Van Helsing left holy crosses lying around as temporary power-ups—grab one, and you get a few seconds of glorious holy fire to clear rooms. But mostly, you’re relying on fists and dodging snakes that pop out of nowhere. The level design’s sneaky—doors need keys, some stairs loop you back, and the last coffin in each area always has a boss waiting (Lucy as a vampire is legit creepy). Health potions exist, but good luck finding them when three brides are lunging at you.

It’s janky in that classic Amiga way, but the atmosphere nails the movie’s vibe. Just don’t expect Jonathan to move like a ninja—he fights like a guy who really regrets taking this assignment.
