The first time it happened, I just stared at the screen for a solid minute.

It feels claustrophobic in the best way, like a chess match where the pieces occasionally stab you. And the puzzles? Classic Falcom: obscure enough to make you scribble notes, but never unfair. That moment when a hidden switch finally clicks is pure magic.

If you’re into moody synth tracks and dungeons that feel alive (or actively hate you), this is your jam. Just don’t expect waypoints or quest markers—your brain’s the only map here. The translation patch makes it surprisingly playable, too. Still stuck on that one room with the floating platforms, though.
