Play Breakers Online
Pick a fighter and battle opponents in one-on-one matches, using punches, kicks, and special moves to drain their health bar in this 1996 fighting game.
Breakers came out in 1996 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games series, developed by Fuuki Co., Ltd. It was a time when fighting games were everywhere, and this one fit right in with its straightforward, no-frills approach. You could tell it was made for players who just wanted to jump in and throw some punches without a lot of extra story.
You pick a fighter and face off against opponents in one-on-one matches. The goal is to deplete the other player's health bar using a mix of normal attacks, special moves, and super combos. The mechanics include a straightforward four-button layout for punches and kicks, along with motion inputs for specials like fireballs and dragon punches. Matches are fast and can feel brutal if you miss a block; the pacing is quick, with rounds often ending in under a minute. It feels responsive and direct, like a solid arcade cabinet port you'd sink quarters into.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
