Game Overview

BS Sutte Hakkun is one of those weird little SNES games you stumble across and think, "How did I not know this existed?" You play as Hakkun—a tiny cube with eyes and a knack for flipping blocks in the strangest pastel-colored worlds. At first it feels like a puzzle game, but then you realize you're also platforming, dodging enemies, and trying not to get stuck in your own rearranged terrain.

The whole thing has this dreamlike, slightly off-kilter vibe—like if Q*bert took a trip through a Tetris board designed by someone who really loved jellybeans. The controls are simple (just jump and flip blocks), but some of the later stages get surprisingly tricky. And yeah, the fact that this was originally downloaded via satellite in Japan back in the 90s just adds to its weird charm.

It’s short, colorful, and exactly the kind of obscure gem retro fans love digging up. Definitely worth a play if you like your platformers with a side of surreal block-flipping.
