Play Bugs Bunny in Rabbit Rampage (Europe) Online
Guide Bugs Bunny through quirky levels, collect carrots, use a giant pencil to create platforms, and face off against your own reflection in this wild platformer.
I picked up Bugs Bunny in Rabbit Rampage on the Super Nintendo back in 1994, a game developed by Sunsoft. It was one of those licensed platformers that tried to capture the spirit of the cartoons, and it came out during a time when the SNES was packed with colorful, action-heavy titles. The game puts you in control of Bugs, but it doesn't follow a typical platformer structure.
You guide Bugs through a series of surreal, changing levels where the main goal is to find and collect a set of carrots in each stage. The mechanics are unusual; you use a giant pencil to draw platforms and items into existence, and you often face off against a mirrored version of yourself. The pacing is erratic, and the difficulty can spike unexpectedly due to the unpredictable level layouts. It feels like a strange, experimental take on the genre that doesn't always control smoothly.
