Bugs Bunny in Rabbit Rampage is one of those weird, chaotic SNES games that sticks with you. You’re basically thrown into this cartoon nightmare where Bugs has to fight off classic Hanna-Barbera characters—Yosemite Sam, Daffy, even Marvin the Martian—while the scenery keeps shifting from deserts to haunted houses. The controls take some getting used to (why does throwing a pie feel so awkward at first?), but once it clicks, the sheer randomness is kind of amazing.
It’s way harder than it looks, though. I remember getting stuck for ages on the level where Elmer Fudd’s hunting you with a shotgun while the screen scrolls automatically. Still, there’s something about the janky charm and old-school animation that makes it weirdly addictive. If you can handle the frustration, it’s a fun little time capsule of 90s cartoon chaos.
