You start by picking a team (I always went for underdogs—more drama that way), then immediately panic because your budget is laughable and half your squad is either aging or injury-prone. Scouting feels like gambling—do you trust that 18-year-old with "potential," or splurge on a washed-up veteran who might carry you for one season? And don’t even get me started on injuries. Nothing hurts like your top scorer going down right before the derby.
Modern games hold your hand—this one throws you into the deep end. No fancy cutscenes, just pure, unfiltered managerial stress. And yet, I’d lose entire weekends to it. If you miss when football games were more about brains than graphics, this is your time machine.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
