Play BurgerTime Online
Dodge angry hot dogs while dropping burger parts onto plates—it starts chill until you’re scrambling up ladders with three enemies on your tail. That MS-DOS version nails the arcade’s panic, right down to the bouncy music.

Game Overview
BurgerTime is one of those arcade classics that looks simple at first—you're just a chef running around stacking burger ingredients, right? But then the hot dogs and eggs start chasing you, and suddenly it's chaos. You've got to outmaneuver them while dropping patties and buns onto plates below, which sounds easy until you're cornered with nowhere to go.
The MS-DOS version keeps that same frantic energy from the arcade. The controls are tight, but those enemies are relentless—especially when they speed up after a few levels. I always panic when they start climbing the ladders after me. The music’s catchy in that early '80s way, and the pixel art has this weird charm, especially Peter Pepper’s little chef sprite.
Fun fact: The original Japanese name was just "Hamburger," which feels hilariously plain compared to "BurgerTime." Also, someone out there scored over 11 million points on this thing, which is absolutely insane. If you like old-school arcade tension with a side of nostalgia, this one’s still a blast.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
