I first came across Cargo Bay Deluxe in a collection of MS-DOS Classic Games, though I never found out who originally made it. It fits right in with that era of straightforward, single-screen puzzle games that didn't need a big story to pull you in.

You control a little dock worker who has to move crates from a conveyor belt into a storage bay, stacking them neatly. The main goal is to clear each level before the belt brings too many and you get overwhelmed. The challenge comes from the physics; crates have weight and balance, so a poorly built stack will topple. Later levels introduce different crate sizes and faster belts, demanding quick decisions. It feels like a constant, satisfying battle against entropy and your own past mistakes.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
