First few minutes? You'll panic a little—balancing soldiers, workers, and coin feels impossible until you realize half the game is choosing which faction to disappoint least. Pro tip: start small, or your first castle will collapse before the moat's even dug. The pixel-art banners and chunky towers still have charm, even if the advisors’ passive-aggressive scrolls haunt my dreams.
It’s one of those games where you lose three times before figuring out why the peasants revolted. (Turns out, you can’t just build armories and ignore the grain silos.)
