Caveman Ninja (E) is a side-scrolling beat 'em up where you play as two cavemen trying to rescue women from enemy tribes. The first thing you notice is how stiff the movement feels—your jumps are floaty, and attacks have this weird delay before they land.

You pick up bones and clubs to fight off dinosaurs and other cavemen, but the hit detection is spotty. Sometimes you swear you landed a hit, but nothing happens. The levels drag on a bit too long, and the enemy patterns get repetitive after a while.

Still, there's something charming about the caveman aesthetic, and playing co-op makes it more bearable. Caveman Ninja (E) isn't a hidden gem, but it's an okay time if you're into old-school beat 'em ups.
