Play Cervii Online

You guide this ambiguous deer-blob through eerie blocky mazes, figuring out the rules as you go—step wrong and the screen shifts, or those floating... things appear. It's obtuse but weirdly satisfying when it clicks.

Game Overview

Okay, so Cervii—this weird little MS-DOS game from way back when—shouldn’t work as well as it does. The graphics are basically colored blocks, and the sound effects sound like someone banging on a keyboard, but somehow, it’s weirdly hypnotic. You just move… something (a deer? A blob? Honestly, no clue) around these sparse, dreamlike levels, and the whole thing feels like playing a puzzle no one ever explained.

There’s no hand-holding, no story dump—you’re just dropped in, and the rules reveal themselves as you poke at things. At first, I kept dying because I didn’t realize certain tiles were traps, or that waiting too long spawned… whatever those floating things were. But once it clicks, you start seeing little patterns everywhere. It’s got that "one more try" pull, even when you’re frustrated.

If you’ve got a soft spot for janky old games that feel like they were coded in someone’s basement over a weekend, this is your jam. Just don’t expect it to make sense right away.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
