Play Charlie the Duck Online
You waddle around as a duck, diving for treasure and dodging angry crabs—until a pufferfish ruins your day. The underwater bits make this one stand out from the usual platformer grind.

Game Overview
Charlie the Duck is one of those weirdly endearing MS-DOS platformers that somehow makes waddling around as a duck feel like an adventure. You hop across lily pads, dive into ponds to grab shiny things (because of course ducks love collecting treasure), and occasionally get chased by angry crabs—which, honestly, feels about right for a duck’s life.
The underwater bits are what stuck with me. Most platformers back then just had you jumping on mushrooms or whatever, but here you can actually duck-dive (ha) into the water to find hidden paths. Just watch out for the pufferfish—they’re way less cute when they’re trying to murder you.
It’s got that early ‘90s charm where everything’s a little janky but full of personality. The music’s chirpy, the colors are bright, and the controls are simple enough that you’ll be bouncing off turtle shells within minutes. If you’ve got a soft spot for DOS-era oddballs, this one’s a fun little time capsule.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
