Play Chewy: Esc from F5 Online
You play as a pink alien crashing through Smalltown USA, solving ridiculous puzzles with random junk while dodging goofy villains—it’s pure MS-DOS weirdness with a smirk.

Blue Byte Software released Chewy: Esc from F5 in 1995 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games series. It fits right in with the era's experimental, often humorous adventure titles, built for systems where memory was measured in megabytes and gameplay valued cleverness over spectacle.
You control Chewy, a small pink alien, and guide him through a suburban neighborhood after his crash landing. The goal is to gather parts for his spaceship while solving inventory-based puzzles with everyday objects; you might use a slingshot to knock down a key or combine a chewing gum wrapper with a paperclip to improvise a tool. The game progresses screen by screen, with each area presenting new obstacles and occasional enemy encounters that require quick evasion rather than combat. The pacing is deliberate, and some puzzles demand careful observation or trial and error. It feels like navigating a quirky, interactive cartoon where every solution is just absurd enough to make sense.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
