Play Chickens Online
Pixel chickens wander your farm like they’ve got places to be—your job is to herd them home before they yeet themselves into ditches or just wander off. Simple controls, chaotic results, pure DOS-era frustration with feathers.

Chickens was part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, a compilation that bundled various small titles from the early PC gaming era. The game itself was developed by an independent creator, though specific names are not widely documented, and it fits right into that period of simple, experimental software where developers explored basic mechanics with limited graphics.
You control a farmer tasked with guiding a flock of pixelated chickens back into their coop. The main objective is to maneuver around the screen, nudging the birds carefully without letting any fall into pits or stray too far. Key mechanics include herding the chickens by positioning your character to block their path, navigating environmental obstacles like fences and holes, and managing the flock's scatterbrained movement. The pacing is deliberately slow, but the difficulty comes from the chickens' stubborn, unpredictable nature; one wrong move can send the entire group scattering. It feels like a quiet, slightly absurd battle of wits against creatures that have no interest in cooperating.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
