Your main goal is to travel across different time periods, from prehistory to a far future, trying to prevent a global catastrophe. Two or three characters can combine their special moves into powerful dual and triple techs, which adds strategy to building your party. The pacing is brisk, with little grinding required, and the game always gives you a clear sense of direction.
