Game Overview

Chrono Trigger (Shuffled Version) takes everything you remember about the SNES classic and throws it in a blender—but in the best way possible. Enemies pop up where they shouldn’t, chests give you gear you’d normally find way later, and suddenly that first trip through the Millennial Fair feels like a roulette wheel. I got a Silver Sword before even leaving Truce, which… honestly broke the early game in the most hilarious way.

All the soul of the original’s still there—Crono’s silent charm, Robo’s awkward heroism, that soundtrack that still gives me chills—but now it’s like replaying it for the first time again. My friend got a Nu as their first party member. A Nu! It’s gloriously unbalanced chaos, perfect for when you’ve beaten Lavos a dozen times and need the game to surprise you back.

Just don’t get too attached to any strategies. The Black Omen might be full of Imps now.
