Play Clay Fighter 2 Online
Choose a quirky fighter and battle it out in one-on-one matches, using silly moves and dodging hazards to knock your opponent out or drain their health bar.
Clay Fighter 2 came out on the Super Nintendo in 1994, published by Interplay. It was part of that wave of fighting games trying to stand out after Street Fighter II, but it went for a weird, goofy look instead of serious martial arts. The characters are all made of clay, which gave it a distinct visual style at the time, even if the animation was a bit stiff.
You pick from a roster of bizarre fighters, like a stretchy blue blob or a living snowman, and battle through a series of one-on-one matches. The main goal is to beat your opponent by depleting their health bar within a time limit, or by knocking them out of the ring. Signature mechanics include the way characters deform when hit, with clay chunks visibly flying off, and certain stages have interactive elements or hazards that can damage both players. The pacing is fast and a bit clumsy, with an emphasis on silly special moves rather than technical precision. It feels like playing with action figures, smashing them together to see what funny shapes they make.
