Play Clay Fighter 63 1-3 Online
Choose a quirky fighter and duke it out in one-on-one matches, using punches, kicks, and wild Claytalities to take down your opponent in this 3D brawler.
Clay Fighter 63 1/3 came out on the Nintendo 64 in 1997, developed by Interplay. It was part of that wave of early 3D fighters on the system, a time when developers were still figuring out how to make polygonal characters move and fight smoothly. The game stood out immediately because of its visual style; every character and stage was made to look like they were sculpted from clay, giving the whole thing a weird, tactile charm.
You pick from a roster of bizarre fighters, like a boxing snowman or a stretchy blue blob, and battle through one-on-one matches. The goal is to deplete your opponent's health bar using a mix of standard punches, kicks, and special moves. A few mechanics set it apart: the "Claytalities" are over-the-top finishing moves, and some characters can even morph temporarily during fights. Matches can feel a bit sluggish compared to other fighters of the era, and the hit detection isn't always precise, which adds an element of unpredictable chaos. Playing it feels like wrestling with a silly, slightly broken toy that you can't help but laugh at.
