Play Cliffhanger (Europe) on sega Online
You play as Stallone brawling through snowy levels until the punishing platforming kicks in—one wrong jump and you're back at the bottom, groaning with him. Looks rad, feels brutal.

Cliffhanger came out in 1993 for the Sega Genesis, developed by Spidersoft and published by Sony Imagesoft. It was one of those movie tie-ins that tried to capture the feel of the film, with a lot of action platformers like this on the system at the time.
You control Gabe Walker, the character played by Sylvester Stallone in the film, navigating through mountain ranges and enemy hideouts. The main goal is to rescue hostages from terrorists, moving screen by screen through hazardous environments. You punch and kick enemies, swing across gaps with your ice axe, and carefully time jumps across narrow ledges. The pacing is deliberate, with a high difficulty due to instant death pits and aggressive enemy placement. It feels tense and unforgiving, demanding patience with every move.
