Club Football: The Manager is one of those classic Amiga games where you get thrown into the deep end of managing a scrappy third-division football team. At first, it’s just you, a half-empty stadium, and a squad of players who might as well be held together by duct tape. You’ll scramble to hire staff, juggle injuries, and pray your transfer budget stretches far enough to sign someone who can actually score.
The matches play out automatically, but you can tweak tactics or make substitutions—usually while yelling at the screen when your star striker decides to miss an open goal. There’s even a team editor if you want to replace your hopeless squad with custom players (or just rename them after your friends and laugh when they get red-carded). It’s janky in that old-school way, but weirdly addictive once you start climbing the league tables.
Just don’t expect the board to be patient if you blow all your cash on a flashy midfielder who turns out to be useless.
