Club Football: The Manager throws you straight into the deep end—you’re in charge of some scrappy third-division English team, and everything’s falling apart. The board expects results, but half your squad’s injured, the stadium’s falling apart, and your transfer budget wouldn’t buy a decent pair of boots. You’ll spend as much time juggling physios and trainers as you do tactics.
Matches play out automatically, but you can tweak things mid-game—swap out that useless striker, shift to a defensive lineup when you’re clinging to a 1-0 lead. There’s even a team editor if you want to ditch the real clubs and build your own disaster waiting to happen. Just don’t forget to load it separately, because the Amiga wasn’t exactly forgiving with memory.
Honestly, it’s less about glory and more about keeping the lights on. But there’s something weirdly satisfying about dragging your team up from the bottom.
