Combatrobo Zakato is that weird little MS-DOS game you stumble on at 2 AM and suddenly can't put down. You're dumped into this clunky mech cockpit with nothing but a pixelated HUD and a whole lot of enemy robots to scrap. The first time I played, I accidentally walked straight into an explosion—turns out dodging matters more than firepower here.
It's got that perfect mix of arcade simplicity and "wait, how does this even work?" jank. The soundtrack sounds like a dying synthesizer, but in the best way possible. I swear, landing a hit feels like punching through sheet metal. Not polished, not balanced, just pure robot-on-robot chaos with a side of neon.
