Play Conflict - Europe Online
Staring at a pixelated map of Europe, you push tanks and infantry around—until you realize that swamp was a terrible idea. No hand-holding, just brutal old-school strategy where one wrong move wrecks your entire front.

Conflict: Europe came out in 1989 from PSS, a turn-based strategy game for MS-DOS that felt right at home on the platform. It didn't try to dazzle with graphics; it was all about the decisions you made on a stark, functional map of a continent at war.
You command armies, moving units like infantry and tanks across varied terrain that directly impacts their effectiveness. The goal is to capture key cities and overwhelm your opponent's forces through careful positioning and resource management. The pacing is deliberate, almost slow, but the difficulty is unforgiving; a misplaced unit or a poorly planned assault can collapse your entire line in a turn or two. It feels like a tense, methodical chess match played out with divisions and supply lines.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
