Conquered Kingdoms came out in 1992 for MS-DOS, published by Quantum Quality Productions. It was one of those strategy games that felt right at home in the era of floppy disks and command prompts, a time when managing resources and making careful decisions mattered more than flashy graphics.

You control a faction leader trying to reclaim a broken realm, managing gold, food, and the loyalty of your knights. The main goal is to unite the kingdom by conquering territories, which involves balancing diplomacy, bribery, and outright combat. Key mechanics include screen-by-screen exploration of the map, turn-based army movement, and managing scarce supplies that deplete with each season. The pacing is deliberate, almost tense; one bad harvest or disloyal general can unravel everything. It feels like holding a fragile alliance together with your fingertips, never quite sure who will turn on you next.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
