Play Cloud Kingdoms Online

Roll around as a green blob, bouncing between floating islands while dodging weirdly aggressive beetles—some jumps need pixel-perfect timing, and yeah, those spikes hurt. The upbeat chiptune keeps you going even when the janky platforming kills you for the tenth time.

Game Overview

Cloud Kingdoms came out in 1990 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games series, published by Logotron Entertainment. It was one of those early platformers that felt right at home on a DOS machine, with simple graphics and a straightforward premise that didn't try to overcomplicate things.

You control a green, gelatinous blob navigating a series of floating islands. The goal is to collect all the keys on each screen to unlock the exit, while avoiding enemies like beetles and hazards such as spikes. Movement is bouncy and momentum-based, requiring careful timing for jumps between platforms. The difficulty is unforgiving, with precise inputs needed to avoid instant death from environmental traps. It feels like a test of patience and precision, where every successful screen brings a small but genuine sense of accomplishment.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
