Game Overview
Countdown is one of those old-school MS-DOS adventures where you wake up in a sketchy Turkish mental hospital with no clue how you got there—and everyone thinks you murdered your CIA boss. Nice start, right? You play as Mason Powers, scrambling to escape while piecing together your messed-up memories. The puzzles are pretty clever (though some might make you groan), and the whole "terrorists about to blow up a peace conference" thing keeps the tension high. It’s got that classic early '90s adventure game vibe—pixelated but atmospheric, with just enough weirdness to keep you hooked. If you can handle the occasional moon logic puzzle, it’s a solid time capsule of the genre.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
