Game Overview

Crash of the Titans for the PlayStation Portable came out in 2007, developed by Radical Entertainment and published by Sierra Entertainment. It was part of a wave of action platformers on the PSP that tried to blend familiar characters with new mechanics, moving away from the pure platforming of earlier Crash games.

You control Crash Bandicoot as he fights through waves of enemies, with the main goal being to stop Doctor Neo Cortex and his mutated army. The standout feature is the ability to hijack titans mid combat, taking direct control of their unique abilities to smash through opposition. Between brawls, you still navigate platforming sections, jumping across gaps and avoiding environmental hazards. The pacing is fairly brisk, with combat often feeling chaotic and improvisational. It feels like a messy but energetic twist on the series, where you are constantly adapting to whatever giant creature you just wrestled away from the enemy.
