Game Overview

Crash of the Titans for the PSP came out in 2007, developed by Radical Entertainment and published by Sierra Entertainment. It was part of that wave of handheld action platformers that tried to do something a little different with established characters, fitting right into the PSP's library of portable brawlers and adventures.

You control Crash Bandicoot, but the big twist here is the "jacking" mechanic: you can leap onto larger enemies, briefly take control of them, and use their unique abilities to smash through obstacles and other foes. The goal is to stop Doctor Neo Cortex (again), and you do it by fighting through linear levels, building combos, and using specific titans to progress. The pacing is pretty fast, with constant brawling and environmental destruction, though some sections can feel repetitive. It feels chaotic and silly in the best way, like you're turning the enemy's own creations against them in a messy, satisfying brawl.
