Game Overview
Crime Fighters is one of those classic arcade beat-'em-ups where you just wade through waves of goons, punching and kicking your way to the next screen. The setup’s simple—some mobster’s goons kidnapped a bunch of women, and it’s your job to bust heads until you find them. You start off in a subway, then work your way through rooftops and docks, smacking thugs with whatever’s handy—knives, pipes, even the occasional gun if you’re lucky.
What I like is how messy the fights get. You can stomp on guys when they’re down (which feels weirdly satisfying), and the bosses at the end of each level actually put up a decent fight. It’s not deep, but there’s something fun about the sheer chaos of it all. Just don’t expect a deep story—this is pure arcade brawling at its simplest.
