Play Crusher Online
Navigate tunnels, dig through dirt, and crush enemies by dropping boulders in this 1991 action puzzle game.
Crusher came out in 1991 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games series, developed by David M. Scheers. It was a straightforward action puzzle game from that era, the kind you'd load up after school without a manual and just figure out as you went. The graphics were simple, the controls were direct, and it didn't try to be anything more than what it was: a solid, challenging time.
You control a small miner armed with a pickaxe, moving screen by screen through a maze of tunnels. Your main goal is to crush all the enemies on each level by dropping boulders on them from above. You dig through dirt to create paths and collapse sections of the ceiling, but you have to be careful; if you linger too long, the ceiling starts to fall on you too, and those last-second dodges get brutal fast. The pacing is tense, almost claustrophobic, because every move counts and hesitation means a quick death. It feels like a constant, satisfying race against your own mistakes.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
