Play CT Special Forces (E)(Eurasia) Online

Silently take out guards with one soldier or go loud with the other—this GBA game can’t decide if it wants to be stealth or chaos, and that’s kinda the fun. Toss grenades into jeeps, get spotted through walls, then restart and try a different approach.

Game Overview

CT Special Forces came out for the Game Boy Advance in 2002, developed by LSP and published by Hip Interactive. It was part of that wave of portable military shooters that tried to pack a lot of action into a small screen, and it stood out for its dual approach to missions. You could play it stealthy or go in guns blazing, which gave it some replay value back when you were carrying your GBA around everywhere.

You control one of two special forces soldiers, each with slightly different abilities, working through side scrolling levels to complete objectives like destroying enemy equipment or rescuing hostages. The game uses a screen by screen progression system, so you clear one area before moving to the next. Signature mechanics include using silenced weapons for stealth takedowns, switching between characters for specific tasks, and employing grenades or C4 to blow up vehicles and obstacles. The pacing is deliberate, and the difficulty can spike unexpectedly, especially when enemies spot you from off screen. It feels tense and a little unpredictable, but pulling off a clean mission without alerting anyone is genuinely satisfying.
