Cu-On-Pa is one of those weird little SNES puzzle games that never left Japan—until the Aeon Genesis translation patch came along. You control this round, puffball creature (imagine if Kirby had a lazy cousin) pushing and stacking colored blocks to clear each stage. At first it feels like a simple match-three thing, but then you realize you can chain explosions, ride moving platforms, and sometimes just brute-force your way through by yeeting blocks across the screen.

The music’s ridiculously cheerful, the graphics have that chunky ‘90s charm, and some of the later puzzles will make you stare at the screen for five minutes before going “oh, that’s how you’re supposed to do it.” It’s the kind of game where failing feels funny because your little guy just flops around dramatically.
