Play Cubix Robots Online

You start in a garage swapping Cubix’s limbs like robot Legos—each part changes how he moves and fights. Then you’re off to Bubble Town (yep) chasing rogue bots with satisfyingly clunky controls.

Game Overview

Cubix Robots for Game Boy Color came out in 2000, developed by Blitz Games and published by 3DO. It was one of many licensed games on the platform, based on the animated series about a world filled with helpful and sometimes mischievous robots. The game fits right into that era of colorful, straightforward adventures aimed at younger players.

You control Cubix, a modular robot whose parts can be swapped to change his abilities. The main goal is to explore Bubble Town, find missing robot parts, and repair broken machines. Key mechanics include switching limbs to access new areas, such as using spring legs to jump higher or drill arms to break obstacles, and engaging in simple combat with enemy robots. The pacing is methodical, with some backtracking as you unlock new upgrades, and the difficulty stays manageable for its target audience. It feels like tinkering with a toy box full of moving parts while slowly fixing a broken world.
