Play Custom Robo Arena Online
You tinker with your robot’s parts between fights, then toss it into small arenas where it dodges missiles and fires back with whatever weird weapon combo you slapped together.

Custom Robo Arena came out for the Nintendo DS in 2006, developed by Noise and published by Nintendo. It was part of that wave of DS games that really leaned into customization and portable multiplayer, letting you build and battle with tiny robots wherever you went. The game had a story mode, but a lot of its appeal came from the freedom to experiment with parts and challenge friends.
You play as a rookie Robo Commander who builds and customizes a small fighting robot, choosing its body, legs, gun, bomb, and pod. The main goal is to rise through tournament ranks and uncover a conspiracy by battling other commanders. Fights take place in closed 3D arenas viewed from above; you move, aim, and fire in real time, dodging attacks while managing cooldowns on your weapons. Between matches, you spend time in the hub town talking to rivals, buying new parts, and tuning your loadout. The pacing is brisk, with short battles and a steady trickle of new components to try. It feels like a mix of tactical tinkering and fast, chaotic skirmishes.
