Play Cybercon III Online
Tiny ship, brutal waves of bullets—you dodge, weave, and explode to a pulsing synth soundtrack. Lean into turns like it’ll help, swear you’ll quit after one more run.

Cybercon III came out in 1991 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games series, published by MicroProse. It was a time when strategy and action games were starting to blend in interesting ways on PC, and this one fit right into that experimental phase without a lot of fanfare.
You control a lone operative infiltrating a series of high-tech enemy bases, moving screen by screen through maze-like levels. Your main goal is to locate and destroy the central computer core in each stage while avoiding or eliminating guards and automated defenses. The game relies heavily on careful exploration, resource management (like conserving ammunition and hacking terminals), and real-time combat with a variety of weapons. The pacing is deliberate, almost tense; you have to watch your step because enemies can appear suddenly and the levels are filled with traps. It feels methodical and risky, like a calculated heist where every move could be your last.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
