Cybernoid II picks up right where the first game left off—you're back in that sleek, deadly ship, blasting through screens full of pirate scum to recover stolen cargo. The weapons feel even wilder this time: bouncing bombs, smart missiles that curve toward targets, even timed explosives that force you to think a few seconds ahead. Half the challenge is figuring out which tool to use when—those edge-hugging bombs saved me more times than I'd like to admit.

Some levels are absolute chaos, swarming with enemies that don't just mindlessly charge at you. I learned the hard way that sometimes it's smarter to grab what cargo you can and bolt before things get ugly. The Amiga's chunky pixel explosions and that synth-heavy soundtrack make every close call feel like a scene from some forgotten '80s anime. Just don't get too greedy chasing loot—those 1500 points won't collect themselves, but neither will your wreckage.
