Play Dai-3-ji Super Robot Taisen (Japan) (Rev B) Online
You’re staring at a grid full of tiny mechs—Mazinger, Gundam, Getter—and suddenly you’re the one telling them where to stomp. Those crunchy SNES attack animations never get old.

Game Overview
Dai-3-ji Super Robot Taisen (Rev B) is one of those SNES games that makes you feel like a kid again if you grew up on '90s mecha anime. You start off staring at a grid map, surrounded by tiny pixel versions of Mazinger Z and Gundam units—and suddenly it hits you: you get to boss them around. The first few turns are pure chaos as you figure out who can take a hit and who’ll get wrecked if they step into the wrong laser blast.
The "Rev B" tweaks are subtle but noticeable—your weaker units don’t feel completely useless now, and some of the original’s jankier attacks actually land like they’re supposed to. Half the fun is watching the attack animations, though. There’s something deeply satisfying about seeing Getter Robo’s axe swing in chunky 16-bit glory while the soundtrack blares heroic trumpets at you.
It’s not just fan service, either. The missions get brutal fast, forcing you to actually think about positioning instead of just spamming super moves. By the time you’re halfway through, you’ll have strong opinions about which pilots work best with which robots—and which ones you’re benching forever after they miss three 80% shots in a row. If you’ve ever wanted to yell “Rocket Punch!” at your TV while doing math in your head, this is your game.
