Download Dantes Inferno (Asia) (v1.01) ROM – Sony PSP Game
Swing a massive scythe through hell's twisted circles—demonic babies, wailing souls, and your own guilt keep things messy between the brutal combos. The PSP somehow makes hell feel claustrophobic in the best way.
Game Overview
Dante's Inferno for the PlayStation Portable came out in 2010, developed by Visceral Games and published by Electronic Arts. It was a solid action title for the system, arriving late in the PSP's life when portable gamers were still eager for deeper, console-like experiences. The game adapts the epic poem into a dark, violent journey, fitting right in with the era's taste for mature, myth-inspired action games.
You control Dante, a crusader fighting through the nine circles of hell to rescue his beloved Beatrice. The gameplay focuses on fast, combo-driven combat using a scythe and a holy cross; you can also absolve or punish damned souls to gain new abilities. Exploration is linear but atmospheric, moving through distinct, gruesome environments filled with platforming challenges and larger boss encounters. The pacing is intense, with difficulty that pushes you to master your moves. It feels grim and relentless, pulling you deeper into its nightmarish vision with every circle you descend.
