Dante's Inferno on the PlayStation Portable came out in 2010, developed by Visceral Games and published by Electronic Arts. It was a solid action game for the system, fitting right in with the era's taste for dark, myth-inspired adventures. The PSP version managed to bring a console-style experience to handheld, which was impressive at the time.

You control Dante, a crusader who descends into Hell to rescue his beloved Beatrice. The gameplay involves moving through the nine circles of Hell, fighting demons with a scythe and a holy cross. You unlock new combos, absolve or punish souls for upgrades, and navigate environmental puzzles. The pacing is relentless, and the difficulty can spike without warning. It feels like a grim, satisfying grind through some truly unsettling landscapes.
