Game Overview
Dark Half is one of those weird, ambitious SNES RPGs that never got a proper English release—which is a shame, because the whole hero/villain split is way cooler than it sounds. You alternate between playing as a demon lord (who’s actually kind of tragic) and the human knight hunting him down. The demon side lets you summon monsters and corrupt towns, while the hero’s story plays like a classic JRPG with turn-based fights. The translation’s rough in spots, but the atmosphere’s surprisingly grim for a Super Nintendo game. I just wish someone had finished patching it properly.
