Play Daze Before Christmas (Europe) Online
Grumpy Santa punches elves and chucks explosive presents in this janky but charming SNES platformer—just watch out for those slippery jumps and slow ladders.

Daze Before Christmas came out for the Super Nintendo in 1994, developed by Sunsoft. It was one of those oddball holiday games that showed up late in the SNES library, a time when platformers were everywhere but few tried something this weird. You don't see many games where Santa Claus is the main character, especially not ones this unapologetically strange.
You control Santa, and your goal is to rescue Christmas from an army of mischievous elves who have turned hostile. The gameplay involves moving screen by screen through a snowy village, punching elves to defeat them, and throwing explosive presents to clear obstacles or hit enemies from a distance. Platforming is a big part of it, though the controls feel a bit slippery; jumping can be imprecise, and climbing ladders is slower than you might expect. The difficulty comes from awkward enemy patterns and some unforgiving level design. Playing it feels like wrestling with a game that never quite got polished, but there's a stubborn charm in its rough edges.
