Game Overview
Dead Angle on the Sega Master System is one of those weird, tense shooters where you’re constantly checking your own shadow. You play as some poor guy whose girlfriend got snatched by the mafia, and now you’re blasting through waves of goons to get her back.
It’s this odd mix of first-person shooting (you aim with a crosshair) and third-person awareness—your little silhouette shows up on screen, and if it turns red, you’re about to eat a bullet. Ducking behind cover helps, but the game forces you back up after a second, so you’re always scrambling between shots. The later levels throw way too many guys at you, and the clock’s always ticking. Messy, stressful, and weirdly satisfying when you pull it off.
Just don’t expect to beat it on your first try.
