You control one of the female fighters from the Dead or Alive series, exploring a tropical island resort. The main goal is to build relationships with other characters by winning beach volleyball matches, giving them gifts they prefer, and spending time together at various activities like the casino or photo sessions. Two signature mechanics are the partner affinity system, where your performance in volleyball improves based on how much your companion likes you, and the island photography mode, which lets you take pictures of the characters in different swimsuits and poses. The pacing is relaxed, focused on social simulation rather than combat, and the difficulty comes mostly from managing your schedule and resources to maximize affection.
