Dead or Alive: Paradise came out on the PlayStation Portable in 2010, developed by Team Ninja and published by Tecmo Koei. It was a spin-off from the main fighting series, arriving late in the PSP's life when developers were experimenting with more niche, portable-focused experiences.

You control a male protagonist who interacts with the female fighters from Dead or Alive during a vacation on a fictional island. The main objective is to build relationships by giving gifts, playing minigames, and taking photographs. Signature mechanics include dressing characters in various swimsuits, which affect their mood and performance in activities like beach volleyball; exploring the island screen by screen to find items or trigger events; and using the camera to capture specific shots for your album.
