Deathbringer - The Sword of Abaddon_Disk2 is one of those classic Amiga RPGs that feels like it crawled straight out of a dungeon master’s notebook. You start off in this grim, low-fantasy world where everything wants to kill you—bandits, monsters, even the weather if you’re not careful. The combat’s turn-based but brutal, and your party members can permanently die if you’re reckless. No hand-holding here.

What stuck with me was the atmosphere. The pixel art’s gritty, the music’s got this eerie synth vibe, and the writing doesn’t shy away from dark fantasy tropes. You’ll spend a lot of time managing supplies and praying your healer doesn’t get ambushed. Not for the faint of heart, but if you like old-school RPGs with teeth, it’s a solid time capsule.
